“Heavy Iran” Conference Held Successfully
The first after JCOPA conference on heavy transportation issues was held here in Tehran under the title of “Heavy Iran 2016” as announced before here at PIMI news headlines:
The conference opened to tens of Iranian and non-Iranian guests from Turkey, Iraq, Iraq, Ukraine, UAE and Russia registered in advance for their participation.
The first ever tried venue (Novotel-Ibis Tehran IKHA) for such an unique event was crowded by heavy transportation experts as well as few technical media at about 10 am according to the agenda.
The Conference opened at the presence of a high level audience including Representatives of of Eng. A. Akhoondi (The Road and Urban Minister) from the “Ministry of The Roads and Urban Development“, top transportation experts from the Iranian Railway, and other Officials also several large size private companies active in diverse transportation services, one like “SATI” which is the oldest established private company in Iran since 1951 and carried out by very specific speeches covering the huge projects in the “Heavy Transportation Projects” presented by experts from Iran and Russia on the Conference’s subjects:
- Potential of Iranian transport infrastructure (ports, roads, bridges)
- Sharing practice of delivering project cargoes in the direction of Iran
- Particulars of state regulation of the transport sector
