The Indian chemical industry is at the threshold of rapid growth with the Government of India providing an atmosphere of support and encouragement. India’s vibrant chemical and petrochemical industry plays a significant role in the economic development of our country. In terms of volume, the Indian chemical industry is the 6th largest in the world and the 3rd largest in Asia with the size worth $108.4 Billion.
The India Chem is the largest fair of its kind in China and India. In Mumbai are the most chemical and pharmaceutical companies to find. At the fair the latest products UNF technologies. Producers, traders and consumers here to meet business contacts. The India Chem provides among others that the economic growth in the chemical field continues.

FICCI in association with the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India presents India Chem 2016 to promote and accelerate the growth of the pharmaceutical and petrochemical sector. Ranked as the largest chemical exhibition in India, the 8th edition of the fair will have on display a wide range of products and services concerning the chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, technologies, process plant machinery and control & automation systems.
BOMBAY CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTRE (BCEC)
Established in 1991, the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) is a known name in the exhibition industry and is the biggest exhibition venue in Mumbai. The center has climbed from strength to strength, and has emerged out over the few years as a respected forum, that has conducted some of the biggest and most eminent global trade shows in India. The BCEC comprises of 4 halls that occupies over 45,000 sq.mts of exhibit area and is centrally air-conditioned. The halls are furnished with wi-fi facilities, good lighting, well-designed ventilation and strong flooring to withstand even the heaviest of machinery. Centrally located and within few minutes away from the nearby recreational centers, restaurants and hotels, the BCEC is ideal for conducting different types of seminars, conferences, events and exhibitions.
