Material Marketing Index for March 28th 2017, High Attention to PP and HDPE
After 16 months of surveying and studying about the contents of this website, we now have new plans in hand which will gradually be published in order to make this Portal more useful for the viewers.
Polymer Material business in a country like Iran with official converting factory licenses for 16 millions of tons of materials, in conjunction with almost 2.5 mTons of out of license production makes the material business a very successful one for every businessmen in the world. Right now, there are mostly Chinese who know the rules and buy the extra produced materials in Iran even cheaper than Iranians. The reason is that, the Iranian PC plants have to expose their production in the “Tehran Stock Exchange” and if there will be no buyer, then they can export it with whatever price (usually 5% less FOB of Iranian south ports) and so sometimes the Iranian converters buy they materials that is made in Iran from China even cheaper than Iran.
This could be found from the table of figures that we will publish, at least two times a week, at this portal and those who can draw business charts from these figures, can decide how to invest in Iran for cash buying of materials, stocking it here and then sell it here through their agents.
To know more about this, you can go through the following prelude and of course read the whole text by “Clicking Here” to see the sample tables.
The first and latest table belonging to March 26th will be published tonight.
Material Market in Iran
Even several petrochemical plants in Iran which are producing polymers seem to be private, but, they are legally forced to sell their products in the “Stock Exchange” market. There has been a long time fight between the Industrial Ministry and the Parliament + many industrial associations for the method of selling these polymers. So far, all polymers have to be announced with a bottom price at the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) and those who can offer better prices are those who can buy it for further selling by increased prices to small and medium size companies which never have enough cash or credit to purchase their needed materials in TSE. So, the true prices of polymers in Iran are affected by several factors, including the exchange rate of US$ to Rials per day.
