The 3rd “TIOG” kicked off in Iran at the presence of the China Ambassador to Tehran and other high profile Iranian capitalists.
Today at the the third Iran-o-China “Trade and Investment Opportunity Gathering” many officials, including “HE PANG Sen the Chinese Ambassador to Iran”, and several private giants gathered to welcome and be aware of these opportunities. Due to present conflicts raised by the Chinese Government for the Iranian entrepenueres, including blocaked of many Iranian bank accounts at China, we cann’t foresee any opportunity for the Iranians to invest in China. In fact invest for what? except the handcrafting of the Persian carpets (not possible, it is mostly the Iranian women’s job!), nourishment and training of Persian Cats, (they got a lot of it) or??? But the news is true. It was a true “Trade & Investment Opportunity Gathering”.
At the gathering conducted by Mr. M.R. Hariri the Co-Deputy of the Iran-o-China Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Asaddollah Asgaroladi a very powerful and high profile Iranian businessman from an investing in Bazzar family and the head of the Iran-o-China Chamber of Commerce, as the 2nd VIP guest took the stage and informed the audience about the latest situation of Iran-China trade situation. He said:” Within 2017 the trade volume between the two countries has reached to about 40b US$” and promised “This figure will touch the 50b US$ boundary”. He also added: “ّIn 2018 Iranians will participate at 4 international exhibitions in China and each month Iran will host one Chinese delegate.”
Gholamhossein Shafei the head of the Iran Chmaber of Commerce explained the possibility of finding a solution for the blocked Iranian accounts at the Chinese banks and imposing of many limitations to the Iranian merchants.
At the same eventm, Mr. Mohhammad Khazaei the head of the Iranian Investment Bureaue siad: “During last 4 years, Chinese have invested about 2.3m US$ in Iran.” He also added:”The first huge financial agreement worthing about 10b US$ has been signed between Iran and one of the financial institutions of Chian.” He didn’t name the so called Chinese company.
At this gathering no one put an important question on the desk of the Chinese Ambassador to Tehran: Why Chine diverted the “SIlk Road” from the north of Iran?
