The South Korean market proved to be an important one for Bandera. In 2018, the manufacturer based in Busto Arsizio (Varese, Italy) delivered in the Asian country an extrusion line for the flat die technology, followed by a PVC pelletizing line, and is now going to install a blown film line of the SmartFlex series.
This plant, which will soon be started in Pyeongtaek after a series of wet test recently concluded at Bandera’s The House of Extrusion in Busto Arsizio (near Varese), features a 1800 mm wide table, and will be mainly dedicated to the production of stretch hoods as well as of printing and lamination films for flexible packaging.
“With this important achievement, Bandera confirms its leading position in the field of supply of quality extrusion lines; in a market which is very demanding from a technological point of view, SmartFlex is the right answer in the flexible packaging and converting industry, thanks to the numerous advantages that distinguish it, such as flexibility, competitiveness and user-friendly management,” stated the company in a recent press release.
