Arburg’s Taiwanese subsidiary in Taichung was officially inaugurated in Taichung. Some 150 guests attended the ceremony along with Arburg’s Managing Partner Renate Keinath and Managing Director Sales Gerhard Böhm.
“The founding of the Arburg organization is an important milestone of the company’s successful development in Taiwan,” said Renate Keinath. “Over the past 35 years, we have enjoyed excellent representation by C&F International Corp. in this important market. However, Arburg has never been known to rest on its laurels. We always endeavor to offer our customers an even better range of products and services.”
Arburg took over most sales and service employees of C&F International, which represented Arburg in Taiwan previously. Off and running already since April, the new premises offer some 550sqm of floorspace, with sufficient space for three Allrounder injection molding machines.
After the inauguration ceremony, two seminars were organized to present on trends and developments in injection molding in general, as well as on the processing of liquid silicone (LSR).
“Our subsidiary in Taiwan offers high-end technology, pre- and aftersales service, as well as comprehensive expertise. The showroom is not only a presentation forum for current Arburg machine technology, it is also a central point of contact for customer trials. The well-stocked spare-parts store ensures excellent availability and rapid provision. Four comprehensively trained Service technicians are deployed in Taiwan to ensure rapid support at the local level,” said Böhm1.
