After several crisis during last two weeks for polymer materials distribution and pricing (Click Here), finally nothing changed and the train backed on track. The PDID office decided to announce the base prices and the IMT ministry decided for material distribution via IME.
Today, So, Sept. 2nd 2018, on another Sunday, the PDID office of NPC launched a new base price list. The interesting point about this new list was the lack of price changes for many grades and limited variations in other grades. Apart from all types of the bottle grades of PET that grew by 3.7%, the rest of the grades remained fixed or similar.
The drop in prices from last week is very low and less than one percent. Among the price reduced grades, the 1540 PS price experienced a 0.7 percent drop. The film grade of PE followed PS in price reduction by a 0.3% in comparison with last week.
In the price addition side, as mentioned above different bottle grades of PET, after two weeks of price drops, this wee experienced an average increase of about 3.7%, after two weeks. As a result of the downturn, these materials were priced about Rials 2000 / Kg.
The following table shows the new prices and its changes from the previous week. These prices, as announced, are valid till Sun. Sep. 9th. 2018. The table is shown after the following break.
