Like every Sunday, today the base price of the commodity polymers that are allowed to be purchase only by Behinyab Codes (Click here) was announced by the PDID Office of NPC, which shows raised prices for all commodity groups.
Meanwhile, according to the PIMI reporter, the highest increase in the rate is registered for the bottle grade of PET, with an increase of more than 832 Rials which defined the new official price of PET bottle grade to Rials 46.732 (900 Rials change in comparison with its last week price of 45.832 Rls. The PVC group was also one of the other groups that experienced a high increase, thus the group faced with an increase of more than 721 Rials (of more than 2% increase) changing its price to Rls. 34.097 from 33.376 Rials of last week.
Other commodities such as GPS and HDPE for film and pipes, and extrusion were other high increased rates polymers.
The least increase in the price increases was related to the LDPE Film grade that rose by only 118 Rials, while the LLDPE also had a slight increase of 236 Rials.
US Dollar calculation rate: The basis for calculating of polymers’ base prices for this week was 41,921 Rials, which compared with the last week’s rate of 41,643 Rials shows an increase of 278 Rials (0.7%). This new US$ base value (famous as discovery rice) resulted in the price increase of the commodities which their rices had already increased at the global market.
The following tables show today’ trade deals (ODTv index of PIMI) at the IME and also at the free market after the announcing of the new prices. Today the highest US$ exchange rate was 41.861 Rials that is lower than the US$ value determined for polymer base prices.
