Today, Monday Sept. 4th, at the IME hall of Tehran Stock Exchange, some materials like HDPE and PP injection grades were more welcomed by brokers.
Whereas the NPC heads, as far the calendar gets closer to the inauguration date of the next IranPlast fair, show-up their friendship with the converting industries and speak of their concerns about the more convenient methods for material supply for SME’s, the wealthy brokers who can afford to buy the higher volumes of any polymers from the Stock Exchange showed their selection by purchasing more film grades and injection grades of PP.
The reason is so simple; the schools and all learning places will open on Sept. 23rd and the film and stationary productions lines are working round the clock. September has always been one of the “Glorious Film Markets” for the plastics film producers. In Iran, school children like to cover of their books and note-books with HDPE films and so the markets get hotter and hotter for this group. The probability for a sharp price increase for film materials always exist in between Sept 10-25th in Iran. We will wait and see!
By the way, at today deals, the extra supply of Marun Petchem EX5 grade up to 1200 tons and 2.200 tons of the total offer of the HDPE film grade at this week was an alerting symbol for the days to go!
Looking at the injection grade of PP, 110 tons increase in supply of Jam Petchem “ER548R” grade and a total offer of 660 tons of the products at this week (Sunday and Monday) shoes the running wheels of stationary producers for schools. Though, the market faced with the same 110 tons of decrease n grade MR230C of Marun Petchem, even the total weekly offer was about 330 tons.
630 tons of grade ZR230C of Navid-Zar Chimi in this week whose+ re-start up of this highly welcomed materials which was not offered last week. The same NZC Petchem co, has also supplied 168 tons of ZH515MA grade which,once again had not be offered during lat week.This is parallel with the fact that during last week two PP grades of ZH500M and ZB332C were offer 105 and 147 tons respectively. Once again showing that the total capacity of these small plants for diverse production of different grades are always in shadow.
Fibre PP
Declining about 1000 tons of Jam 510L of fibre PP, and an offer of 550 tons were sounding;
the supply of 220 tons of Jam 550J grade which had not been offered during last week;
1100 tons Supply of Grade 552R by Marun PC
The increasing of 132 tons of Grade z30S of Marun and a total offer of 968 tons at this week
and finally a 105 decline in Navid Zar Chimi 550J grade, and a n offer of the same volume were the important of today’s polymers in Iran (you can read Tehran)!!
