Just one day after the start of the new Iranian year, a powerful in the Golestan province (northeastern of Tehran) destroyed many of the province’s cities and made the New Year bitter for its inhabitants.
Soon after the incident, and because of the government’s silent news and executions, people, including me and my colleagues, were trying to help.
But, this was just the beginning of the story. Severe rains started from the central Alborz area. The stormy weather and showers continued to the southern cities one by one. Today’s news highlighted that 25 oints of the country are at serious risk of flood. The news confirmed the flow of the flood steam to the entrance and the ancient market of old and historical town of Shiraz, in addition, flood destroyed more than 2,000 vehicles and killed a number of our compatriots.
Meanwhile, my task with my colleagues has become more sensitive. In the market of petrochemicals and polymer products, work is almost stopped and almost everyone thinks about what to do?
While a number of our colleagues are traveling, and some of them in high-risk situations, it is our duty to believe in our professional work.
Neither it is possible to ignore these exceptional conditions, and nor can I ignore the professional principles of the media.
The floods in several provinces of the country have also affected our work, but, my colleagues and I, with a heart full of grief for the lives of many people and destroying many of the infrastructure, are obliged to forget about the New Year as well. Acting ourselves helpful to the victims, and respecting the principles of professionalism, to continue the publication of news in all spaces owned by the “Plastic Industry Media”.
