The 4th day of IranPlast 2019 was the busiest day of the exhibition. It was the last day of the visits of the officials. It was the last day of finalization of the discussions. It was the last day of signing the MOU’s and agreements which were the results of many B2B negotiations, and it was the day of the last chance for delayed visitors. PIMI, is trying to give a brief but almost comprehensive report of the last day of the 13th IranPlast international exhibition.
Today, on Wednesday Sept. 25th, the last day of the 13th IranPlast or in the other words IranPlast 2019 was somehow was the busiest day of the exhibition. However, the most important viewpoint was the replacement of the traditional European and many other non-Iranian companies with the Iranian companies. This latter one show (The Iranian spirit) was a more important show than the main show. In a non-written agreement the Iranian companies show that if one of the greatest world power has banned Iran and imposed the hardest sanctiones
The official visits
The Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resource “Ali Suleiman Ghanem” accompanied by a high-profile delegation who had visited the “South Pars Phases” on Monday Sept. 23rd, on the sideline of the IranPlast 2019 international exhibition, visited the exhibition today. At this visit the Syrian Ambassador to Iran, Adnan Hassan Mahmoud, and the Director of NPC, Behzad Mohmmadi, accompanied the Syrian Minister.
Some Iranian MP’s and several IMT high ranking staffs plus almost all staffs of Public Relation Office of the NPC, also visited the exhibition.
News Highlights
To cover the last day’s atmosphere of IranPlast 2019, PIMI will publish news highlights of the lasAryat day here underneath:
- Arya Sasol petrochemical company and its managing director – Amir Hossein Bahreini – were the most active petrochemical unit on the last day of exhibition and created many news highlights;
- In an interview, Amir Hossein Bahreinin, announced the successful production of a special grade of HDPE using a new catalyst for production of car fuel containers;
- For the 2nd day, Ahmad Ali Saatnia the CEO of PIMI visited the halls 35, 38, 38 A and 38 B for last meetings with several machine manufacturers and specially the Italian and German stands. In his visit to the Italian stand he met with Mr. Fabrizio Vanzan (left photo). In his discussion with Mr. Vanzan they spoke in detail about the future cooperation of PIM total group regarding the next PLAST Exhibition (Milan, 4-7 May 2021). At this meeting which took longer time and coincided with the next agenda of Mr. Fabrizio Vanzan the representative of AMAPLAST to the IranPlast 2019, Mr. Saatnia had the opportunity to meet Tony Corradini (left image) the Deputy Director of ITA (Italian Trade Agency, known as ICE here in Iran) after an introduction by Mr. Vanzan. At their short meeting they also discussed the necessity of the supporting both the AMAPLAST activities in Iran, also the support of the Iranian machine manufacturers.
- The visit of the PIMI to the German few companies including that of Messe-Dusselorf’s stand took place when one of the high ranking directors of the Messe Dusseldorf was in another meeting with IranPlast executives. After signing the cooperation agreement of the Messe-Dusseldorf and IranPlast for partnership regarding organization of the so called exhibition, Mrs. Petra Cullman (left image- right) visits IranPlast every year to discuss new issues if any;
- NPC and The Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran known as IDRO Group (established in 1967) signed a MOU for domestic manufacturing of the parts and spare parts that is needed by the petrochemical companies to develop their present refineries or for their future expansion and developments. The MOU signing ceremony organized at the executive headquarter of the exhibition between the managing directors of the companies. (Right image).
- Based on our reporter, on the sideline of the IP 2019 exhibition, an agreement was signed between Ilam petrochemical company and Norahaan Company aiming designing, equipment supply, goods and base materials, production and installation for recovering the Sulfur in a capacity of 8,815 tons per year. In this regard the Iranian investment group’s managing director said to reporters (left image) that: “In line with the long term economical policies of “Persian Gulf Holding’ and more attention to domestic production, in addition to subjects like productions, equipment, parts and catalysts we have also discussed the licensing and so this agreement has been signed to use domestic technology for our needs;
