At a happy atmosphere for both sides (except a few Iranian Officials- See the unhappy photo of three here below) parts of the Italian delegate of about 250 companies took part at the signatory ceremony of 7 inked documents by the officials of both countries.
The signatories being counterparts in Iran and Italy, sometime were smiling and sometime were in rush to sign and go (Like the TPO Director and deputy to the IMT Minister) making some reports suspicious if they are in the German side and not happy of Italians to sign the contracts, One by One. However it was deals which both countries’ experts had worked on it for months, if not about a year.
At his turn for his feedback to the Iranian President at the later Press Conference, Mr. Matteo Renzi made a satire about the very famous Italian company, Danielli’s President and pointed out his wearing of his shirt without a tie to respect the Iranian typical wearing. This added more happiness to the meeting even some few like the Iranian IMT Minister and the Italian Ambassador were not excited like others. Please see the gallery before

The documents were inked in state and private sectors with the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Italian PM. The signed documents included an MoU on tourism and cultural activities, an MoU on industrial cooperation between Iran’s Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economic Development of Italy, and another MoU on the cooperation between the Islamic Republic Railways with Italian Railway.
Other documents are an MoU signed between Enel Company and National Iranian Gas Export Company, an MoU between Iran Airports Company and Milan Airports Company, and another MoU inked between Car Gas System (CGS) and Danieli Company of Italy.
Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, heading a 250-member political and economic delegation, arrived in Tehran on Tuesday morning. The two officials started bilateral talks and attended negotiations between the two sides’ delegations.
