A New Grade of PP by Jam PP Petrochemical Co at IME: The public relations office of Jam PP petrochemical company has announced introducing of a new grade of PP material by this company at the IME (Iran Mercantile Stock) today.
The new PP grade of Jam is given the name of “Jampilen EP548T” and is very suitable for low temperatures. According to the PR published by the Jam PP PC, this material has a high melt flow rate (MFR) of about 50g/10min with very suitable mechanical properties. The so called “Jampilen 548T” is offered for very low thickness dishware (TWIM/IML) which are also going to be treated by IML systems, the company says.
The other advantages of this grade in comparison with the other PP grades demanded at domestic market of Iran is the possibility of reduction of about 20% of injection pressure and increasing the injection speed which results in reducing the production costs and finished price of the goods produced by this grade.
