PIMI Special Report: On Tuesday July 3rd, when a curious passenger shoot photos from a plane which had no identity and was very different in shape and exterior design, it was very late for the Iranian civil aviation staff to hide the landing permission from the Tehran’s Mehrabad airport issued to an American registered Boeing 737 aircraft.
The news sent by someone to a protesting news agency in Paris and within 24 hours many interested people were questioning about the reason and the possible mission of the plane passengers. Since the gossips started to scatter finally an official took part in a self decided interview with the ISNA (The Iranian Students News Agency). However, the excuse explained by the official was worse than other possible excuses.
At least the explanation of Reza Jafarzadeh the spokesman of the “CAO” (National Civil Aviation Organization) supports several reports of the PIM publication group since two decades ago that, Indians have special ties and hidden links with some Iranian officials for purchasing Iranian petrochemical products and units with at least 40-50% discount.
PIMI editors prefer to close the story at this point and invite you to read the story translated from few protesting news agencies. However, and may be PIMI will disclose much more documents about these relations. Our in-office investigation showes that the corect name of the businessman is: Ravikant Roya Chaturvedi, and not that introduced at the following news.
Iran National Civil Aviation Organization endorsed the “Landing Comedy”; US aircraft owned by Indian traders
Meanwhile, the CAO spokesman announced two days ago that the American plane which landed at Mehrabad airport belongs to the famous Indian businessman Ravi Khanta Roya. The national airline also confirmed the news.
The spokesman of the organization, Reza Jafarzadeh, in his interview with ISNA, also said that :”The landing plane, a Boeing 737, is being used by a group of Indian traders who are currently using it for their commercial and economic goals.
According to him, although the aircraft has a US registry plane, but since it is currently available to the Indians so its landing in Mehrabad is also related to its traders.
The airline spokesman explained about the use of the Mehrabad airport for international flights: “The airport, which has been used for many international flights in the past, is also today capable of serving international flights, and only with regard to domestic policies that make international flights To Imam Khomeini airport, currently, the airlines do not operate on the airport for their flights abroad.”
Jafarzadeh added that Mehrabad Airport, however, is also available for foreign flights and therefore serves commercial jets if needed.
A few years ago, with the commencement of the Imam Khomeini airport, international flights were completely removed from Mehrabad Airport, and about 50 domestic and foreign airlines made their international flights through Imam Khomeini Airport.

Now, after these two versions of interviews we are questioning that, what has been the fact behind this fight? Is it really for the petrochemical negotiations?
