Analysis of the Iranian Polymer Material Market in this Week: At the 2nd week of May, the Iranian polymer market faced with some tolerances. This analysis shows the main tolerances and the materials which were more attractive for the market.
At the end of May 12th, the figures for the Iranian polymer market shows some increase for some sectors. Let’s have a look at the following table:
Title | Last Week | This Week | Increase | Decrease
Supply
(Tons) |
75.813 | 80.044 | + 4.231 | 0 | |
Demand
(Tons) |
118.048 | 92.307 | 0 | – 25.741
Total Deals
(Tons) |
44.096 | 48.465 | + 4.369 | 0 | |
The figures belongs to 5-12 May 2017
As it is shown, at this period when the supply was increased, demands were decreased. Most of demand decreasing was due to lack of production in rubber sector. as per the table shown in last news “Click Here” about the market deals of May 8th, even there was 4030 tons supply offer for diverse rubber types, there was only 40 tons of demands for 1502 light rubber product of BIPC only. The same case happened for the film grades of AKPC (22 tons of purchasing for 2200 tons supply) and zero demand for 220 tons supply of Arya Sasol film grade.
Apart from these, the most attractive materials for the markets were the following 15 grades which raised competetives from 1.08 to 1.20%:
E6834 PVC of Arvand, 200,300,400 grades of EPS materials from TPC, ZH515MA PP of NZPC, Textile grades of MPC (C30S, HP552R) SF60 of PolynaarPC, and almost many other textile grades of the Regal, Navid Zar Xhimi and Jam petrochemical plants. So that one can say it was the week of textile grades for competition in the polymer market.
According to the same table of May 8th., the materials that the factories faced with its lack of supply were:
PET Bottle grade (1408 tons), PVC (1010 tons), LDPE for film (172 tons), Blowing grade of HDPE (1492 tons), Injection grade of HDPE (1800 tons) and PS (300 tons). This lack of materials for sure will affect the prices of these materials by opening the markets on the next Saturday.
