In the new year, there are two important international exhibition events, in regards with the plastics and rubber industries Chinaplas and PLAST exhibitions. Of course, these are apart from few locational exhibitions, calling themselves “international” but what they don’t have is a great name internationally. One like the Iranian “IranPlast” which by now and almost less than 6 months to opening, no one knows: Who is Who?
As far as the next Chinaplas is concerned, the time has finished for any more planning to exhibit or visit this exhibition; Either as an exhibitor or as a visitor.. This means that the exhibition fans should start to be prepared to attend the PLAST 2023, one of the most famous Italian exhibitions amongst 3 others: NPE of USA, K Dusseldorf and Chinaplas.
First things first
Returning back to “PLAST 2023”, there is still a little time left to reserve a booth at the PLAST exhibition. But visiting such a great exhibition requires planning. Planning with reverse engineering, at least for the exhibitors or visitors which are not Europeans!
PLAST exhibition will start on September 5th., and runs till Sept. 8th., As a matter of fact, if someone is the resident of countries with low value passports (like Iran) or due to political agreements with Italy / Schengener countries needs a visa, its visa must be issued or valid at least for September 1-15.
Currently, VFS Global company is responsible for issuing visas for more than 100 countries, including EU member countries.
The offices of this company need between 20-30 days to issue a visa for countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and so on. So the best time to handle the documents should at least be the first days of August. To reserve this appointment, the applicant should have three ways: Traveling with a group and handing over all responsibility to group’s leader; Refer to brokerage companies that charge significant fees in countries like Iran, but the best way is to stay awake for a while between 3-5 am in your local time during second half of July, so that you can arrange your appointment at the time and date that you desire.
In order to ensure that you get a visa, in addition to the documents that must prove that you will return to your country, you definitely need to provide; An invitation from the exhibition office or a credible Italian company that you are already dealing with or representing it; accommodation reservation and air ticket. In some countries like Iran, several travel agencies provide these services by payment of the fees.
Note that if you have a valid visa from other member countries of the Schengen Union, you do not need to obtain a visa from Italy. You can enter the same country, go to Italy from there, return to the previous country from the exhibition, and then return back to your home country.
Second step: planning to visit PLAST exhibition
The exhibition will be held only for 4 days, while two other prestigious and important exhibitions will be held at the same time.
PLAST is as huge as you can imagine and so without a pre-organized visiting chart your chance to visit other exhibitions or even the concurrent or side activities of PLAST.
