Breaking news: Today, a temporary meeting at the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade tried to find a solution for this gradually increasing conflict between these two group.
Since two years ago, a conflict started between part of the members of the PMMA (Polymer Machine Manufacturers Association). The association itself was established after 5 years of continuous efforts and paid expenses of and by the founder of this Channel (Dr. A. A. Saatnia) aiming to assemble these individuals together. However, a crisis in the last elections of the management board, resulted to ignition of a challenge between those who supply the machinery made totally outside Iran, and those who are claiming that they are domestic manufacturers and should be supported by Government in a special way.
The challenge gradually turned to a conflict and finally to a fight. As the result, and after publication of the PIMI survey about the amount of about $ 850 millions investment for purchasing machinery at Iranplast (Click Here) the two groups asked for separate halls and also far away from each other. Such a request affected the possible banning of IranPlast by one group and possible participation of the other group. Finally the organizer decided to separate the halls and so this was in good sake of the IranPlast itself.
Due to lack of time for the publication of tonight’s newsletter of PIMI, we will analyse this conflict in few days ahead.
