Connecting Iran to the World of Payments
To back up the effective presence of the two German financial groups; “EFiS EDI Finance Service AG” and “Maleki Groups” of financing and banking systems) at the first international banking forum in Iran, “Armin Gerhardt” one of the top ranking manager of the EFIS said to Iranian media: “companies like Volkswagen and Siemens are interested in Iranian Banks’ connection to Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) to facilitate and develop economic deals between Iran and Germany as soon as possible.”
“The Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy and Vice Chancellor of Germany Sigmar Gabriel has demanded his company to connect Iranian Banks to SWIFT with the aid of Iranian experts very soon.” he added.
The announcements of Armin Gerhardt, supports their company’s active participation at the “Banking and Business Forum Iran Europe” organized by Maleki Group and the Iranian central bank. For three days experts of the Western financial sector and high-ranking representatives of the Iranian government, of the national central bank and representatives of all Iranian banks on executive level exchanged their experiences at that top level Forum.
Matthias Machnig, State Secretary of the federal Ministry for Economy and Energy, accompanied by Stefan Messer, Messer Group and Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of Frankfurt on Main and Marck Wengrzik, AKA Export Finance Bank, Frankfurt on Main, were the highest financial European figures who met many Iranian officials, including 4 Iranian Ministers, at the so called Forum.
During the event, EFiS actively supported the event with round tables and workshops.
