AST: EUR 7m expansion of UK container site is completed

German plastic canister producer AST (Erndtebrück; www.ast-kanister.de) has completed a GBP 6m (around EUR 7m) investment at its Wrexham / UK site. The work included a 4,500 m² facility, constructed alongside the company’s existing production unit on the site, to house 5 to 25 litre containers. The investment is part of a capacity expansion in Germany and the UK announced earlier in 2016 – see Plasteurope.com of 09.05.2016.
