Erlangen, July 2018: Evosys Laser GmbH was honored as one of the most successful business start-ups in the region at the award ceremony of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The prize, which was created by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Nuremberg for Middle Franconia in 1996 and endowed with 10,000 euros, was awarded during a festive ceremony on July 4, 2018. In front of around 140 invited guests at the IHK Akademie Mittelfranken, Mr. Peter Kurz, Chairman of LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co. KG, gave the laudation for Frank Brunnecker and Holger Aldebert. The jury praised the commitment of the two managing directors for their innovative solutions and individual approaches.
The company started at the end of 2015 with two employees, today the workforce already numbers over 40 employees, far more than half of them in development and design. Since its foundation, business development has exceeded expectations and the company intends to continue growing.
The concept of using standardized lasers in customer-specific systems is working: “We have been active in the industry for many years and have seen that there is a need for individual solutions,” the two managing directors Frank Brunnecker and Holger Aldebert describe their motivation for founding the company.
The Evosys Group currently consists of three companies, the parent company Evosys Laser GmbH, the subsidiary LPW Services GmbH and the subsidiary Evosys (Suzhou) Laser System Co, Ltd. a joint venture in China.
