As reported by several specialty media in Iran, Mr. Hooshang Parsa, Managing Director to “PlasticKar Co.” has, in an interview, expressed concern over the grave consequences attached with the attraction of foreign companies and the relevant increase in the Iranian Government’s revenues. While elaborating on the issue in detail, he pointed out: “With the significant increase in the governments’ revenues, they routinely tend to foster social satisfaction for a while, thereby embark on widespread imports. Given the competitive edge of the foreign companies over domestic ones, there is not any reason to believe that the latter will encounter much undesirable problems under these circumstances”, he said.
“Having these prospects in mind, we have appraised our range of products and managed, in cooperation with our colleagues, in developing new ones which are on a par with the CE rules and regulations on imports and meet their requirements. Indeed, prior to the present juncture, we used to cover the regional markets’ needs by keeping pace with their developments, however, since one year, we have adopted a new approach to marketing techniques by getting to know with the CE market and conforming our range of products in order to ensure its exportability to Europe. Indeed and for more than a year, we were feeling that the circumstances are shaping in such a manner that many a manufacturer is doomed to bankruptcy, so we did our utmost to keep pace with the latest developments taking place in CE market, to endure and withstand the unexpected contingencies”.
“It is worth mentioning that our Company, as a model exporter and manufacturer of long standing, has developed and launched various polyethylene (HDPE and LDPE) films in single and three ply configurations, in various widths and thicknesses as well as flexo printability up to six colours, bags in various industrial- and consumer-grades, polymer compounds, PVC granules, PVC and PE hoses together with a newly developed range of products such as agricultural-purpose, wide films with new formulations and premium quality as well as new types of hoses with full observation of new environmental criteria and standards, 5-year guarantee and especially favorable marketing features”, he concluded.
