Hexpol TPE at K 2016: New Global Branding Strategy
Hexpol TPE today announced that it will use the K2016 exhibition as a platform to present a new global branding strategy. The group said it will announce a restructuring of its TPE product brands and the re-naming of each of its European sites to Hexpol TPE. The changes are being made to support the company’s global expansion and create a more cohesive portfolio for customers.
The group currently operates three companies in Europe:
- Elasto Sweden
- Elasto UK
- Müller Kunststoffe
As part of the branding strategy each of these sites will be re-named to Hexpol TPE. Alongside their European sites, the group also operates production, R&D and sales in China and is developing its North American capabilities, both of which are also marketed under the Hexpol TPE name.
Carsten Rüter, president technology for Hexpol Compounding, commented, “The Hexpol TPE businesses have been on an exciting journey over the past few years. We’ve grown through acquisitions and organic growth, we’ve invested in our production capacity’s and technical capabilities and we’ve challenged ourselves to deliver even more value, polymer know-how and application expertise. We believe the new branding strategy is a natural next step in our evolution and will help to demonstrate the advanced TPE solutions and global support we can offer our customers”.
