Within few hours from publication of this news, on May 2nd, 2016, another large Ptchem Complex will be inaugurates by the 1st Vice President of Iran. According to the published news in Iranian media, the Lorestan Petrochemical Company is expected to produce more than 300 KTons of Low and High Density PE utilizing about 324 Ktons of Ethylene Gas delivered to the complex via the “West Pipeline” which is the longest feeding pipeline in the region. the news also say:
Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri will inaugurate Lorestan Petrochemical Complex, western Iran, on Tuesday, May 3.
Completion of Lorestan Petrochemical Complex which has the capacity of production of 300,000 tons of low and high density polyethylene per year creates more than 100 downstream industries.The complex uses 324,000 tons per year ethylene gas which is supplied through a cross-country pipeline originated in Assaluyeh.Some 233 million euros have been invested in the project supplied by Bank of Industry and Mine. 580 people have been employed at Lorestan Petrochemical Complex and 5,000 people will be employed by downstream industries.Construction of Lorestan Petrochemical Complex started seven years ago and will kick off its work officially in a ceremony to be held on May 3 with the presence of vice president.
