Iran Petrochemical Value Chain Summit “Investment & Development” in Vienna: Iran Petrochemical Value Chain Summit “Investment & Development” will be held by Iran-Europe Business Center (IEBC) and Independent Inc. for Contemporary International Conferences & Fairs (IICIC) as the main organizers, with support of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and in cooperation with Advantage Austria on July 6-7, 2017 in Vienna.
Iran considers great importance for significant development of its mid & downstream sectors to diversify away from oil products and build downstream industries. Iran is committed in boosting its petrochemical and refining capacities to achieve the first rank at regional level by 2025. In this context, launching new petrochemical industries with the purpose of diversifying the products, will provide an appropriate opportunity for further development of downstream industries as the consumers of petrochemical products. Concurrently with increasing the production of Ethane, the investment should be enhanced in downstream sector, through taking advantage of new technologies, innovations & know-how.
According to Iran’s targeted plan, the total output capacity of downstream products (automotive, textile, building industries) to be reached by 120 million tons and 180 million tons in 2020 and 2025 respectively. With continuing this trend, it is highly expected the total capacity of downstream exports to be enhanced considerably, which definitely has a pivotal role on flourishing Iran’s national economy.
This Summit will focus on exploring all possible ways and means for expanding the Mid & Down-stream sectors via joint ventures, attraction of international financiers & investors and addressing the main existing challenges for further development at national and international levels. Additionally this event will create a dynamic opportunity for business networking & interactions as well as holding B2B & B2G meetings with Iranian high ranking officials, managers and experts.
