Today, on Sunday Sept. 24th 2018, on the day before kicking off the IranPlast exhibition, the PDID office of NPC announced the basic prices of polymers and other petrochemical products for the first week of automn in Iran. At today’s prices, the highest decrease determined for the two HDPE grades of PE100 and PE80.
The prices of these two grades fell by two percentage from the last week’s price decline.
The prices of different types of PVCs, the materials in PET group and EPS materials 200, 300 and 400 were also reduced by one percent.
In the incremental market, only PS 1504, HIPS 7204 and film grade of LDPE faced with a slight increase of less than half percent in comparison with its last week prices. The rest of the polymer grades and commodities such as different types of PP, either didn’t face with any change or their increase was negligible.
The PIMI market analyst believes that like the last two years trying to keep the prices either unchanged or the least change be imposed on it could be a stable policy for the IranPlast week. The least reason for such a policy might be less exposure of the NPC responsible bodies to the critiques of the exhibitors and visitors.
The table after the following brake shows the prices determined by PDID office of the NPC for the current week.
