According to the news published in Iranian media, the Iranian researchers are intended to produce Penicillin glasses and blood test tubes and cps aiming mass production to fulfill the country’s need to these tubes.
In an interview with the “Mehr News Agency“, Elham Saqhafi, the Project Executive of glasses and blood test tubes’ caps and glasses said: “We were able to obtain the technology of producing these glasses and caps to keep our country’s FOREX reservoirs.”
Expressing that this product is not currently imported into our country due to sanctions, she added: “According to the estimations, we have an annual consumption of 500 million penicillin vials, and with its domestic production we can use less imported products”
MS Saqhafi pointed out: “Based on many test results that were carried out in certified and reference labs, the samples we produced had a lower microbial percentage than the imported ones, while we did not produce the prototype in sterile conditions” [PIMI: Amazing events happens, of course, in Iran. Expressing that the production of this product will create many jobs, she said: “We have 300 work days in a year, and in the form of two shifts production of 500 million pieces of penicillin and blood sampling tubes, 150 people will be directly employed and 400 indirectly”.
Referring to the country’s need to this product, she said: “Currently we have no domestic production in this field and it is totally an imported product”
She emphasized: “Our country needs this product as a consumer need and based on the Supreme Leader’s confirmations, we can take step towards to national development and job creation by producing this product”.
MS Saghafi added:”it is necessary to invest in the production of penicillin and blood tubes’ vials and caps, so that we can localize it by using the technology that we have followed.”
According to Mehr news, the idea of this initiative was presented at the First Gathering of Plastics and Polymer Innovators in line with a comprehensive innovative program under supervision of the National Iranian Technology Network (in the Pardis Technology Park).
