An Iranian knowledge-based company has developed an indigenous network management system called NodeMaster that features self-healing capabilities and rapid fault detection, aiming to improve service quality and reduce human error in Iran’s communication networks.
According to the Communications and Information Center of the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy (CICIVPSTKE), Faraabeen Knowledge-Based Company, based at Yazd University’s Science and Technology Park, has designed and produced the localized system.
NodeMaster enables communication operators to manage and control data transmission/reception equipment and call routing devices.
Ali-Akbar Taddayon, CEO of Faraabeen Company, stated that the system aims to enhance the efficiency and security of Iran’s communication networks while helping operators provide better services to customers.
He explained that NodeMaster fully supports the FCAPS network management model – Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, and Security – addressing all operator needs in these areas.
Taddayon emphasized that NodeMaster reduces reliance on foreign systems while improving mobile network service quality and user satisfaction. Potential customers include mobile operators, telecommunications companies, government organizations, and internet service providers.
Taddayon said, “By leveraging the expertise of young Iranian engineers, we’ve developed NodeMaster as a fully localized product. We believe domestic engineering capabilities can deliver advanced, globally competitive solutions – and NodeMaster proves this.”
