Italians survey capacities for investment in Mazandaran
A group of Italian investors in a meeting with Governor General of Iran’s northern Mazandaran province was familiarized with investment capacities in the province.
Mazandaran is one of the unique Iranian provinces with an exceptional weather and massive, untapped investment opportunities,’ said Governor General Rabie Fallah, appreciating the Italian investors’ presence in the province.
He referred to President Hassan Rouhani’s recent European tour and visiting Italy, expressing hope that both countries’ mutual investments will be blossoming in the post-sanctions period.
The top provincial official referred to the existence of three international airports and three major sea ports in the province and the visit of millions of Iranian and foreign tourists to Mazandaran, including the health tourists.
Referring to the governorate’s authorities measures for signing investment contracts with the foreign companies, Falalh set example of Mazandaran’s trade ties with Russia.
He also highlighted the province’s various types of forests, some of which are unique in the world and among the most ancient jungles on the earth, as well as the fisheries industry of the province.
The Italian investors who were impressed with their personal experience of the beautiful northern Iranian province expressed confidence that they will return to Mazandaran with dozens of proposals for making investments in Mazandaran.
