Within the Iranian media, almost everybody knows that each year during Feb. 1st-11th, there is a period of Happiness in Iran: Happiness for 1979 Revolution and Happiness for all “FREEDOMS” devoted to the Iranians due to that Revolution.
Only if, this period does not coincide with the days of the Martyred Imams, the Iranians really enjoy their life with several films and theater’s festivals, Carnivals, Ceremonies and so on.
Normally during this period, no displacement of top the top Iranian Officials is expected, because most of them have been programmed to do something at this period. But, as an exceptional event, one of these unexceptional events happened today. According to news broadcasted at today’s 14.00 PM news (Traditionally, the most important news time in Iran): ” The Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh appointed Marziyeh Shahdaei as his deputy and managing director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC).
Mrs. Shahdaei who was the NPC director of projects, is the first female staff of the Ministry promoted to the deputy minister level. In her appointment letter, the Minister referred to the post-sanctions condition (JCOPA) and stressed upgrading of technology, attraction of foreign investment, and increase of export.”
In our view, this replacement (which was expected since several months ago, but not during this period) has happened suddenly and intentionally at this period which normally no one could be unhappy, or allowed (culturally) to blame officials. And such a displacement can only be analyzed as this: Mr. Abbas Shari_Moqaddam. a pro-Nematzadeh Official, is the 1st “The 1st victim of Bi-Ministerial Conflict”; A conflict during last 9 months between the Petroleum Minister and the “Industry-Mine and Trade” Minister (Mr. M. R. Nematzadeh).
Does this mean that, the stronger muscles of Zanganeh may even replace the IMT Minister as well?
We have to wait and see.
