Material Marketing Index for March 28th 2017, High Attention to PP and HDPE: Material Market Index in Iran: Even several petrochemical plants in Iran which are producing polymers seem to be private, but, they are legally forced to sell their products in the “Stock Exchange” market, through “IME” (Iran Mercantile Exchange). The free market price of US$ at this date has been 1US$= 38.500 Rials which shows 540 Rials increase in comparison with previous days.

َAn important point of this day was the price of US$ which increased unexpectedly and was exchanged for 38.500 Rials.

The total output of the deals happened at the “TSE” is a semi-holiday expose of materials, shows that, whereas some PC plants were not able t sell even 1 Kg. of their materials, in the other hand the market for some materials like PP for textile industry and HPDE has been hot.  Some materials like PTFE, LDPE for film, and PVC S65 has been sold less than the bottom price, whereas some other like HDPE extrusion grade of AmirKabir and Shahzand PC, Textile PP from Rejal PC and Shahzand also S65 PVC of Bandar Imam PC have been very competetive and sold with higher prices.
