Today, Eva Rugenstein, in our opinion, one of the most known international exhibitions’ press officer, said goodbye to all with declaration of her supersede (Dr. Cornelia Jokisch) which is a young but very experienced active lady in international exhibitions’ affairs. In her Good-Bye email to may be thousands of journalists in the world, Eva Rugenstein, has introduced her supersede and also has called for continuous cooperation of the media people with her colleagues for years.
About an hour ago, the CEO of this portal (A. A. Saatnia) sent a circular to his friends and colleagues. Kind of the translation form of part of his message is: “Hey guys, we lost a very very good friend; Eva Rugenstein. She is OK, but retired. This was a sad news for me and for sure for all of you who knew her. I am sure that like always that I have told about myself, when some one retires or by any means is not continuing the world doesn’t stop. So, we have to appreciate for all what she did and be cooperative with the new lady which is her supersede (Dr. Cornelia Jokisch). I ask you to appreciate all of her values at different media that we are running”.
In view of the CEO of PIMI, Mrs. Eva Rugenstein was and is a very experienced, friendly and know-how patent holder of how to tolerate the world’s journalists each with his/her own behaviour from top democratic to low profile in democracy countries. Her management in the K preview gatherings, also during different international exhibitions is atop. I have learned from her a lot and owe myself to her management styles and disciplines.
By the way we prefer to finish this short unpleasant report by her “Good-Bye” letter and also by first time publishing the image of Dr. Cornelia Jokisch (left image) and wish all the best for Mrs. Eva Rugenstein. The following image is also an image from a very friendly meetings of Mrs. Rugenstein and Mr. Saatnia at the latest “PLAST” show of Milan.
Dr. Cornelia Jokisch has been working in the EuroShop project for 17 years and has enough experience to deal with journalists, even up to the point that in an incidence she had to call the Düssedorf police in order to mediate for returning back of a foreign exhibitor whom his driving licence had been caught by the Dusseldorf police. She knows the journalism world and so makes us happy that if there will be any chance to participate at any next Messe-Düssedorf exhibitions, we should be tolerated ass we were for years.
Dear friends and colleagues,
It is time for me to say good-bye: at the end of this year, I will retire from my current position. After thirty-three years, twenty-five of them as head of the press department of Messe Düssedorf, I will take my leave with the fondest of memories.
It has been a great pleasure for me to gain an insight into so many interesting industries, exciting subjects and, above all, to meet such an abundance of impressive people; I learned a lot, and never experienced a dull day. My time here has always been exciting, characterised by encouragement, help, team spirit and human kindness. With both optimism and curiosity, I am looking forward to my future as a retiree.
From now on, my colleague Dr. Cornelia Jokisch will lead the K Düssedorf press team. Desislava Angelova and Sabrina Giewald will remain an integral part of this team and will continue to assist her in the tried-and-tested manner. Please give them the competent and friendly support that I have come to enjoy throughout my time in this role. You can contact the team at JokischC@messe-duesseldorf.de, AngelovaD@messe-duesseldorf.de and GiewaldS@messe-duesseldorf.de, and under the following telephone number: +49 (0)211-4560-998 or -242.
To all the people who have played a part in my professional life and enriched it, I am truly grateful. Goodbye and best wishes!
Yours,
Eva Rugenstein
