Evosys Laser GmbH is exhibiting for the first time at productronica in Munich. Here, the technology leader will be presenting solutions for laser welding of plastics such as the universal EVO 2800 complete system or the PICTOR.
Erlangen, Germany, September 2019: Evosys Laser GmbH will be exhibiting at the productronica in Munich from 12 to 15 November as part of the Bavarian joint stand (Hall B2, Stand 321). Using applications from the automotive, medical technology and consumer sectors, the laser welding experts will show what is important when welding plastics.
For example, the EVO 2800, a universal laser welding system for processing small and medium-sized series, is available for this purpose. Depending on the application, the system can be equipped with different laser sources and optical modules, thus offering a wide range of applications. Virtually maintenance-free and service-friendly,
the system is predestined for use in 24/7 production and, with a footprint of approx. 1 m², fits into any application environment.
The EVO 2800 can be designed for manual loading by an operator as well as for automatic loading by a handling or robot system. Intuitive process software enables comfortable operation. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the EVO 2800 welding system is the ideal tool for Evosys customers to use laser welding of plastics quickly, space-savingly and economically in their industrial production.
An increase in quality can be achieved with the high-precision measuring device PICTOR. This means that both the optical properties of the plastic components before the welding process and the finished weld seam can be checked for any deviations and defects for each individual component. Especially for the automotive industry
and in medical technology, this inspection is sometimes indispensable. PICTOR was developed by Intego GmbH in close cooperation with EVOSYS for improved quality monitoring. INTEGO is a partner of Evosys Laser GmbH and an established expert for customized inspection systems.
