DUPONT: Rudy van Engen new EMEA director for DuPont Performance Materials

DuPont Performance Materials (DPM), a division of DuPont (Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com), has named Rudy van Engen as its new regional director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with immediate effect. He is based at DuPont’s European headquarters in Geneva / Switzerland.
The Dutch national began his now more than 20-year plastics and rubber industry career in the plastics division of Dow Chemical in 1994. Two years later, he moved to the DuPont Dow Elastomers joint venture, where he served in various sales, regional product management and global business management roles. In 2014, van Engen was appointed regional sales manager Central & Eastern Europe at DuPont Performance Polymers.
DuPont and Dow are in the process of merging. Once the authorities give their approval, DuPont Performance Materials will become part of the new Material Science business headed by Jim Fitterling (see Plasteurope.com of 01.06.2016).
