The deal was signed on the sidelines of the 21st Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals at Tehran’s permanent fairgrounds on Sunday.
Speaking with NIPNA, on the sidelines of the showcase,Esmaeil Ghanbari, managing Director of PTRC, said the deal focuses commercialization and developing the technologies needed for production of a number of key petrochemical items.
He said the deal is a step to resolving the sector’s technological problems.
The official further said that PTRC has so far developed the technical know-how of producing different kinds of catalysts and is seeking to expand its technical capabilities in the petrochemical sector, and the deal would be a major step in this regard for the company.
