NORTH THIN PLY TECHNOLOGY: Technology Marketing appointed as distributor for USA / Composites specialist expects “significant growth in 2016
Effective immediately, Technology Marketing (Salt Lake City, Utah / USA; www.tmi-slc.com) will be distributing North Thin Ply Technology’s (NTPT, Penthalaz-Cossonay / Switzerland; www.thinplytechnology.com) range of prepreg materials and engineering composite products across the USA. NTPT’s portfolio is used in a wide range of high-performance composite applications in the marine, motorsports, aerospace and sports and luxury segments, and is highly complementary to the existing product range of Technology Marketing. The appointment follows the retirement of NTPT’s US sales manager Mike Mettenet.
The partnership is illustrative of the “significant growth NTPT expects for 2016. To meet rising demand for its portfolio, the Swiss group is currently relocating its Polish manufacturing operations to larger premises, and in January entered into a distribution deal with Bodo Möller Chemie (Offenbach / Germany; www.bm-chemie.de) for several European countries (see Plasteurope.com of 03.02.2016).
