After “CBI“‘s decision for imposing a single rate for the Iran’s Forex market and fixing 1 US$ for Rials 42.000, the Sunday’s excitements for polymer prices cooled down because there were no gestures for US$ discovery prices. The result was announcement of a table from the PDID office of NPC for the new prices.

Shown at the following table, you can see the new prices with a lot of changes in comparison with the last table announced on April 8th., (Click Here). The noticeable point is that, though the US$ base price was felt down from the last price definitions (Rials 48.95 to 42.000), but some or better to say, more prices went up again.

According to this week’s prices the following points are noticeable:

PET, which seems to be completely in the hands of speculators, has seen the highest growth. Other types of PET grades represent also about 4.6% growth.

HIPS 7240 with 4% growth increased by to Rls. 67.138/Kg. An EPS  200, 300 and 00 grades, also experienced 3.4 growth. GPS 1540 grade also faced with  a 3% growth and its price defined as Rls. 64,745/ Kg.

Diverse film grades of PE faced with 1.8% and their prices reaches up to Rls. 47.880/ Kg. Also the blowing, film and extrusion grades of HDPE experienced Rls. 660 in comparison with thier latest price (+ 0.5%)

At the same time the bright type of SBR 1502 remained unchanged, and as it was possible to foresee, the rotational and injection types of HDPE faced with reduced prices. These materials by 3.1% reduction in their prices experienced the highest price decreases
