Chinese Were The Winners of IranPlast In Machinery Sale

Based on the finalized reports of the PIMI staffs who visited different halls of the 13th period of IranPlast, the Chinese companies have been the winners of this international exhibition. The reason comes from the reports of machinery sales of the Chinese exhibitors.

Normally, the Iranian investors doesn’t like to disclose their deals and trade figures, either in exhibitions or during the IME bids for material deals. However, there are some individuals that believe to the free flow of the information and so they don’t resist to speak about their activities. One, is Mr. Sharifee the representative of the HB Machinery of China.

According to the News Headquarter of the 13th IranPlast exhibition, the HB Machinery’s agent in Iran has spoke about what they did during this exhibition. Mr. Sharifee has said that: “HB Machinery of China is a machine manufacturer that manufactures the casting lines for production of plastics films. Till 2006 this company was manufacturing only 2 or 3 models of machinery for CPE, CPP and PE stretch films production. However at the moment the diversity of their products has increased due to their futuristic planing that has resulted into their bypassing of some Korean and other countries.

Sharifee said: “Although, within last 2-3 years the importation of machinery has turned to a great problem due to the increasing of FOREX rates and some other new rules and limitations and purchasing machinery is no more beneficial for importers, but we have imported several machines for PVC and PE stretch films”. He added: ” Recently, because of cheaper raw materials, workforce and electricity in Iran, stretched films produced in Iran is gaining potential markets in the the region. The Turkish companies supply their demands from Iran and other countries are trying to buy the best from our market. Such a fantastic condition ended to selling of one unit that is already on its way to BandarAbbass port for installation and also we had several MOU for further machinery sales”.

Pointing to the present economical and political condition of the country said; ” Although, the exhibition didn’t have its previous years’ booming but we considered it as an opportunity for meeting with our customers and friends. Also, we always have a positive look toward this exhibition”

After termination of this period of IranPlast, PIMI is still surveying and questioning the Iranian exhibitors, either a domestic manufacturer or an agent of a foreign company, to find about the expenditure of the gesture amount of the investment for machinery purchasing at this exhibition (Click Here). The ear to ear listening shows that the amount of machinery purchasing from foreign companies has been considerable but in a dark room! Though all evidences show that once again the Chinese have been the winners of this exhibition.
