Clondalkin Flexible Packaging (Amsterdam / The Netherlands; www.clondalkingroup.com) in May appointed Chris Button as group sales manager for its Flexibles business division. The promotion comes just six months after Button first joined the group’s Flexible Packaging Bury division in the UK, specialised in lids and shrink films.
Button will be based in Bury and will assume responsibility for building commercial relationships with flexible packaging users in the UK.

Clondalkin Flexible Packaging appoints new sales manager in Netherlands
Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Grootegast has appointed Andrea Poelstra as sales manager for its Netherlands based business.
Poelstra will be responsible for Grootegast’s Form and Seal packaging as well as new business development.
The Form and Seal packaging is used in a wide range of markets including confectionery, bakery, textile, personal care, flowers, vegetables and the professional seed market.
The packaging includes flexo and gravure printed pointed bags, side weld bags and stand up pouches.
Almost any shape is possible and can be printed mono-film or include a range of different laminates with a barrier.
Poelstra has held senior sales positions in various companies in the food, agriculture and energy industries.
“Working in the food industry, it is clear how much attractive packaging impacts on consumer decision making,” she said. “Working at Clondalkin Grootegast makes it possible for me to use my network as well as my experience in the food industry having worked in food manufacturing, retail and service.”
Clondalkin Flexible Packaging operates 11 extrusion, printing and laminating and converting production facilities throughout Europe.
