Americhem expands automotive portfolio with acquisition of Vi-Chem

Americhem Group has acquired TPE and PVC compounder Vi-Chem Corporation. Vi-Chem will become a portfolio company of Americhem Group and continue to operate out of its Grand Rapids facilities, which will serve as Americhem Group’s center of excellence for TPE and PVC compound solutions. Vi-Chem houses research and development laboratories that are certified to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard. The company is also accredited to the ISO/TS 16949:2009. Vi-Chem is based in Grand Rapids, MI, USA, and employs 85 people.
