German distributor establishes subsidiary in India: Focus on Huntsman’s Advanced Materials portfolio
The latest step in its global expansion course, German distributor Bodo Möller Chemie (Offenbach; www.bm-chemie.de) in late July set up a sales and consultancy office in Mumbai / India. Managed by Lionel Breuilly, the company’s presence in India will include sales teams located in other major Indian cities – Delhi, Calcutta and Chennai – who will focus on distributing Huntsman‘s (Salt Lake City, Utah / USA; www.huntsman.com) Advanced Materials portfolio. The emphasis will be on adhesives, composites and products used in the E&E sector, Bodo Möller said.
The new office will offer sales and distribution services alongside application-oriented technical support services, including consultancy, customised application tests, demand-based repackaging and individual product formulations.
Bodo Möller has been growing its international footprint, most recently by opening a subsidiary in Zagreb / Croatia, which also focuses on Huntsman’s Advanced Materials slate (see Plasteurope.com of 21.06.2016).
