The New Blood for Management Board of ASSOPLAST
This is the first time that “PIM, PIME and PIMI” write a positive report about “ASSOPLAST“. The so-called association is the first and the oldest plstics association (since 2000-2001) which established as a NGO during President Khatami’s Government. In our opinion the late 6th election of the management board of the Association was the most trustee one after 16 years’ of Selections. You will read, WHY?
“ASSOPLAST” (The Iranian Association of the Plastics Parts’ Producers- So far acting only in Tehran Province) run a true election after 16 years of its foundation (10.01.2001) and for the first time the truley elected members were sent to the office to cure all disasters remained since ever for this most important plastics’ NGO (amongst all 23 present Iranian associations established in different Iranian industrial areas) and its 95% protesting members (more than a thousands members, who had denied to pay their annual memberships for years!
The election took place at a neutral premises 3 days ago, under full control and supervision of the two ministries, after a long and challenging period of electional activities between the two main groups: The one remaining from the old era (5th times management boards, attached to the chairs and manupulating every other previous elections, as well as office records and financial books!); And the other composed of young, energetic and tired of all messes, who decided to come over for the 6th election aiming not allowoing another “SELECTION” instead of a true “ELECTION”. Though, most of them were elected in June but the 5th management board having and through special Governmental chanells canceled that democtratics election. Such action made the new group, and few independent candidates, more decisive to fight for the right, and they did it.
Tax evasion and several huge tax bills plus unbeleivale penalties (counting for about 5 billios of Rials) were the main reasons that most members were no more able to tolerate, and so, started a “Lights-Off” campaign since three months ago, after cancellation of the June’s election. This time, on election day, much more voters presented and made the election more democratic and more emotional. It was said, by indepndent sources as well as 6 PIM’s team of coverage (4 of them at the venue and the 2 others, including the CEO of PIM which was controling the reports and photos from his hospital bed and sending instructions for the team including guidlines for decoding of the oponents’ codes for the people who were there to vote on behlf of their traditionally Selected condidtaes). Now a new blood is injected to the veins of the most important (but diverted from its main missions for years) Association, and we are proud to congradulate all the memebrs of the new team, the names;
Mr. Ali Moein Far (the right or up photo) with the highest votes, Mr. Jhoobin Ghasemi (the left or down photo), Mr. Mohhammad Bakhtiari, Mr. Ali Bastan Far and Mr. Sheikh Najafi. Also Mr. Djavad Hoobah Fekr was selected as the Association’s Inspector.
