Clariant Highlights Sustainability- and Efficiency-Focused Gas Processing Adsorbents : “Clariant“, a world leader in specialty chemicals, presents new additions to its reliable and value based Gas Processing catalysts and absorbents at the Gas Processors Association (GPA) GCC 25th Annual Technical Conference in Abu Dhabi.
Clariant’s ActiSorb GP Series of high performance adsorbent techologies for gas purification supports customers in improving efficiency, operability and total cost of ownership. Based on environmentally-acceptable technology, the products for the removal of sulfur, carbonyl sulfide (COS), arsine, mercury and oxygen are designed to optimize contaminant pickup.
At GPA GCC, Clariant will highlight two new products from its comprehensive portfolio:
ActiSorb GP 108 for sulfur removal of gas streams offers high capacity that lowers operating costs and extends cycle lengths. It is ideal for the purification of dry and wet gas streams that contain hydrogen sulphide and traces of mercaptans and COS.
ActiSorb GP 418, an innovative adsorbent for the removal of all forms of mercury from dry gas streams. It offers 2-3 times better performance than conventional Hg adsorbents commercially available in the market.
Stefan Heuser, Senior Vice President & General Manager Business Unit Catalysts at Clariant, stated: “Our ActiSorb GP Series delivers reliable, high absorbent capacity and stable performance that helps gas processors to achieve better sustainability and greater efficiency at their processing plants. We are pleased to bring new products to the market to extend our offering.”
Clariant will be at GPA GCC from May 9-11, 2017 Booth A3.
ActiSorb® IS A TRADEMARK OF CLARIANT REGISTERED IN MANY COUNTRIES.
