At a press conference with media on the occasion of the Industry & Mine day, M.R. Mesforoosh announced the financial supports of the Tehran’s Industrial, Mine and Trade’s regional office to industries which are not able to complete their projects and are located in Tehran.
The announcement says; At the first 4 months of the Iranian calendar (Starting March 21st 2017) this bureau of the IMT Ministry has supported about 12000 industrial units in Tehran.
Tehran has 17000 industrial units which 30% of it are inactive at the moment and could be operative by the financial supports of the Government, including funds and soft loans with low interest and extended down-payment period policy. On the Bases of the same news, at the first quarter of this year sum of about 2500 billion Toomans (each Tooman is 10 Rials) equal to about 6.25 million US Dollars has been paid to the industries located in Tehran. The funds have low interest rates and payable in a longer period installations.
Mr. Mesforoosh, the head of Tehran’s provincial IMT Bureau, is one of the very expert and experienced government managers which has mostly been at the services of the Industrial Ministry and its subsidiaries. He is also a record breaker of the similar post at different provinces. Before returning back to Tehran at his previous post (the head of Tehran’s IMT Bureau) he accepted to be the head of this bureau in the Alborz province.
He is a very public government official and has always tried to move the industries toward further development, evolution and export oriented units.
Regarding the IMT Minister (M. R. Nematzadeh) it seems that facing many financial disputes over his own and his family wealth, he prefers not to be exposed to another Parliament credit and validity checks at the new government arrangements of President Rouhani.
