Republic of Tatarstan will sell shares of its PC Plant
The government of Tatarstan intends to sell equity stakes of several companies, including “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” (22%). The cabinet made corresponding changes to the program of privatization of state property for 2016, reports TASS.
The made decision is caused by need of more effective use of the available resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
It is planned that the equity stake of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim will be involved for support and development of the priority directions of economy and leading enterprises and companies of the Republic of Tatarstan. And also will promote strengthening of their production cooperation within the formed Kamsky petrochemical cluster.
“Nizhnekamskneftekhim” — the largest petrochemical company on production of synthetic rubbers, plastics and ethylene. Enters into Taif group of companies. In assortment of products more than 120 types. Production of society is exported to 50 countries of Europe, America and Southeast Asia. The export share in the total amount of production makes about 50%.
