Foreign Investments are Momentum for Irans New Era

Ayat. Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani the “Expediency Discernment Council‘ Chairman said that: “foreign capital absorption will be given momentum in the post-sanction era”.

On the sidelines of his visit to “South Pars Development Project“, Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani the head of “Expediency Discernment Council’s Chairman” addressing a group of senior oil industry officials said that : “The oil industry now lies in its real position in terms of production of parts and equipment”. He then continued:
‘During war and Iraq attack on Kharg Island, the quintuple crude pipelines were seriously damaged as a result of the aerial bombardments; those times repair of the pipelines seemed to be difficult and impossible but our experts tried hard and did the job well those times and did not allow any disruption in the country’s crude oil exports. Fortunately, (former Iraqi President) Saddam failed to meet his goal in this concern up to the end of the war.’
Ayatollah Rafsanjani also said: ” Western sanctions targeted Iranian oil industry. For the time being, thanks to the endeavors of Iranian experts, engineers and scientists, the country has gained good success in this regard, necessitating materialization of objectives of the oil industry through constant efforts and careful and comprehensive planning on part of the R&D and scientific centers”
“Iran is the safest country in the Middle East and the world and the investors, active in the field of energy, face unprecedented opportunities.
He hoped that through efforts of the Government of Hope and Prudence, foreign investors will return to Iranian oil industry once again as government’s active diplomacy will prove highly effective and reap good results.” He added.
