Addressing an Oil related conference in Tehran on Sat. April 17th 2016, Marziyeh Shahdaei confirming that: “Iranian petrochemical plants raise their yield by an annual rate of 4% also during the previous Iranian calendar year” said: “The rise in petrochemical yield is a manifestation of the materialization of the Resistance Economy in Iran, instructed by the Supreme Leader as a long term policy aimed at localizing development theories”.
“The petrochemical sector turns raw materials to highly added value, exportable materials. In this respect several key steps have been taken to complete the sector’s chain value chain as required by the principles of the Resistance Economy” Shahdaei added.
The official added that the company is moving in line with goals of the sixth 5-year development plan (2016-2021) by making the most out of domestic capabilities and reducing the country’s dependency on foreign sources.
