A Bid to Thwart Hindrances Faced by Iranian Industries: On the occasion of bringing in operation of “
Pak Shooma” Home Appliances Plant in Mahmoudabad Industrial Estate, Qom,
M.R. Nematzadeh, Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade (
MIT), told the reporters: “Owing the decision reached by the HQ of Resistive Economy Principles within Industries, we managed to implement economic prosperity schemes in a bid to thwart hindrances faced by the industrial units.
In the first stage, we identified 7,500 industrial units which were suffering cashflow problems and protected them by favorable banking system strategies.
Up until now, over 4,000 units have received privileged facilities and the remainder will enjoy the same late September”.
Capitalizing on the potentialities of Qom Province, he stated: “Situated in close vicinity to the Capital, the province does enjoy the potentialities and infrastructure for development and the number of industrial estates, there, keep increasing.
Therefore there is every reason to believe that Qom Province will turn to an industrial hub in future”.
Pointing to the capital importance attached to the operation of “
Pak Shooma” Home Appliances Plant, he added: “The plant is geared to the mass production of high-demand white appliances to meet the domestic demand to these items and, to booth, export the surplus to a greater share of global market”.
It is worth mentioning that Pak Shooma Plant is located in a land measuring 100,000 square meters, provides job for a staff over 700 people and is run on an annual nominal output of 8,000 Tons of various white home appliances. The plant has been established with a constant capital of Rials 700,000,000,000 and EUR 8,000,000 plus a floating capital of Rials 1000,000,000,000.
