َAccording to a news published at the Iranian media, the researchers of the Isfahan Scientific and Research Township have been successful in formulation and production of the anti radiation paints. One of the researchers, Hajar Bahrami, in an interview with the reporter Mehr News Agency, explained: Distribution and interference of waves not only disturbs the electronic equipment, but also is harmful to the health of human societies.
She said that radar systems, microwave radiation, radio and high-pressure posts would have undesirable effects on the health of people living near these stations, she continued: “EMI shielding” refers to the reflection or absorption of electromagnetic waves by a material that acts as a shield against waves.
The research scientist from Isfahan announced the production of anti-radiation paint and said: “The use of anti-radiation paint is an important conservation method that can greatly reduce the effect of electromagnetic waves.”
She said that the SUPER SHIELD-N-13 paint is a single-component thermoplastic electric conductor used to protect all surfaces. “This protective paint is suitable for use on residential homes, surgical theaters and various medical departments, laboratories and buildings with noise-sensitive devices,” he said.
Bahrami added that this paints can easily be used on surfaces using conventional standard equipment such as brush, rollers and spray, with a minimum drying time.
Referring to the strength and durability of this product, she said: “Abrasion resistance for one year, usable on the internal and external surfaces, resistance to moisture and different weather conditions, this paint has good adhesion to various surfaces such as polymer surfaces and cement and is a good constructional layer with the shortest drying time.
