Iranian Polymer Market Price at 1st Week of Ramadan: Today at the “IME” sale of polymers the market was working on different grades of Polystyrene polymers and the other materials had no chance for deals.

As it was expected the market showed its interest to styrenics and most materials which were exposed for sale remained at stocks for tomorrow and may be Tuesday. Usually there are sales on each Sundays and Tuesdays each week.

For today’s sale of polymers the prices for this week’s polymer sale were calculated on a lower US$ price (1us$=37.428 Rals. Click here for more info) whereas the value of the US$ price in the free market was 37.420 Rials and then reduced to 37.400 Rials.

Based on the above table the amount of volume of polymer trade was exactly equal to the demand and there was no interest for more stocking purchases. This shows that within next 3 weeks the polymer trade should face with a low interest market.
