Iran’s Jam Petrochemical Complex has started commercial production of 13 strategic olefin and polyethylene grades. Jam Petrochemical Company has succeeded in demonopolizing five polypropylene and polyethylene grades whose production was previously monopolized by two countries: the United States and Italy.
Accordingly, the company has become the third company in the world to produce MD-35504, MD-3510, MD-3520, LL-235F6 and LL-235F7 and has a monopoly in the production of these items.
Some of the produced items are: MD-35504, MD-3520, LL-235F6, LL-235F7, GR-LL-HP-18XF5, MD-38504, CC-52502, CC-52502SU, CC-52501, HD-5000S, PP EP3130UV.
Along with the production of 13 grades of new polymer products, the first production park of ABS, rubber and other petrochemical products’ chain is ready to be exploited.
“Hossein Saffari”, the head of the Public Relations and International Affairs of Jam Petrochemical Complex, saying that the Jam Petrochemical Complex, is the first and the only manufacturer of the three rubber products of SBS, SB and LCBR in 7 most commonly used grades in the country, confirmed: ” The license of this new production complex is supplied by the Italian company “Versalis” and the basic engineering of the project has been provided by the “Mare Tecnimont” of Italy.
According to him, the project is designed based on the batch process and with the potential to produce a wide range of grades of polymers. This project will be exploited in accordance with the timetable until mid-next year. He expressed the point that: ” the ABS unit of Jam Petrochemical Complex which will be launched next summer with “Versalis” license and “Mare Tecnimont” engineering, is the first and the only manufacturer of ABS with the Continuous Mass technology that will be available in 9 popular grades based on the market demands.
